One of our major goals for the night at RIPPLE 2017 was funding for land at our Hope Project in Léon, Nicaragua. We are thrilled to report that we closed on the land purchase last week as a direct result of the Lord’s blessing and your generous support. This land is going to be essential in meeting our long-term growth needs, and we are immediately beginning the work of getting the land ready to meet those needs.
On this land we will build sports fields (plus purchase equipment), a perfect opportunity for ministry to the kids and the community of the Thomas Borge district. We will also be developing a gardening system for the daily nutritional needs of the children and families in our Nicaragua project.
Not only has the land been purchased…it was dedicated by the very children whom it will benefit. The kids made a day of celebration of the land’s commissioning. It is a beautiful sight watching these children standing on the ground and praising their Lord for it!
This is just one more step forward in a much larger plan God has for this Hope Project in Léon, Nicaragua.
